Camera Silens, formed in Bordeaux (France) in 1981, consisted of Gilles Bertin (vocals and bass), Benoit Destriau (guitar), and Philippe Schneiberger (drums). Their distinctive Oi sound appeared on compilations such as "Chaos en France vol. 1 and vol. 2" (1983-1984) and on their two albums: "Réalité" (1985) and "Rien qu’en trainant" (1987).
