Les Porte-Mentaux were formed in Paris in 1978 by Michel Paul (aka BB Rock, aka BB). The band was part of the alternative rock movement of the time alongside Parabellum, OTH, and Bérurier Noir. They disbanded in 1990 and then reformed from 1996 to 2005, the year BB/Michel Paul passed away.
