Me, Mom & Morgentaler was a band formed in Montreal in March 1988. The eight musicians left their mark on the alternative music scene in Montreal and Canada until their separation in 1995. Thanks to their stage performances and their blend of ska, rock, funk, punk, and world beat, they left an indelible mark on local music. It was in Montpellier, France, that the band Les Sheriff was formed, from the ashes of the former group Vonn. Active since 1984, they are considered by many to be among the founders of the French punk rock scene.
